The White Cube
This is a fictive catalogue for an exhibition that never happened. The works are objects that I created and photographed, The text is copied from wikipedia page about Tel Aviv and the work names are the titles of the bibliography list that were given randomly. In the project I criticized the ‘white cube’, a term from the art world, that describes the gallery as a clean, ultimate space, disconnected from the world. I purposely corrupted the catalogue by adding small red dot stickers - a marker that indicates purchased artwork. This intervention created a new order that elevated the financial value on top of the spiritual value.
